New Year's FREE Printable Subway Art Style

Do you dread the feeling of a "naked" house once all the Christmas pretties are put away?  Don't fret...just decorate for January!  Here's a quick, inexpensive idea for a little New Year's/January decor:

A FREE Printable!

My mom has a photography business and ordered a large quantity of basic white mats for her photoart.  One batch arrived with some discoloration, so I snatched a handful (or two) in anticipation of some unknown projects.  What does a fabric lover do with a blank canvas of free mats - why cover them in fabric, of course!

I used spray adhesive to cover a basic white mat in damask fabric left from my frame to tray conversion, popped in this printable I created and printed on white card stock and put it all together in a black dollar store frame.  Voila...fast decorating for a buck or two!

Please help yourself to this Subway Art style printable (5 x 7)  in either black with white lettering or white with black lettering.  Just click below on the image, save it to your computer and print. If you have any trouble printing it, give me a holler and I'll try to help you out.

Don't forget to come back on Monday to link up all your tablescapes, decor, recipes, and projects at the Monday Makeover for Your Table Link Party.

Happy New Year and Happy Creating!

And a little inspiration as we start a new year:

"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

  1. Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite verses of all time, and a great verse as we anticipate the coming of the new year.

Thanks for sharing this fun Printable! Do you mind if I ask what program you used to make it? I'm shopping around for some good design software to purchase for photo editing and printable making. Yours is super cute!

    1. Hi Lauren,
Thanks for your comment/feedback. Yes, God has used that verse to bring me encouragement many times over the years.

Since I have zero budget for photo software, I actually used picmonkey.com to make that printable. Free and easy to use!
