Our original plans of a date night out got postponed to a later date due to babysitting circumstances (and now a sick child), so we have a new plan: a family anniversary celebration! Our children love to get dressed up and play fancy table (wonder where they got that trait?), so the 5 of us will be dining in style to celebrate not only our marriage but the family it has created.
So like a true lover of pretty tables, I whipped up a quick tablescape with items we already had at home while the children were napping.
Simple place setting of silver, white, platinum, and black
I added a touch of soft pink for romance and for my 3 year old lover of all things pink.
Our side table displays a wedding picture, our wedding album, program, and guest book with a bride and groom figurine gifted to me by my mother on our wedding day.
We plan to look at our wedding pictures with our children tonight. They love to ask questions and learn about the days before they came to be.
Had to add a pink jewel for my little girl (and who am I kidding...for me too!)
The table is set and ready to dine!
Plus a little sparkling juice for the little guys.
We love because He first loved us.

Oh, I'm sorry your baby is sick! That's too bad. That has to be a total bummer with all those new toys waiting to be played with!!! I hope he/she feels better soon. You have whipped up quite a nice celebration table for your family, and I know it will generate even more love as you celebrate your anniversary all together. Enjoy, and Happy New Year, too!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And I'm so impressed that you just "whipped it up." That would take me MONTHS to put together, and would still not look half as good! You are gifted, for sure. Thank you for sharing your talent. And thank you for stopping by There Is Grace. It's so nice to "meet" you!
